Colombo Construction Company, Inc.
“Constructing Another Safe Project”

An informed workforce is Colombo Construction’s best safety asset!

Colombo promotes a “think safety” first mindset for our employees in the workplace and on all job sites.  We are committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, our partners and the communities in which we serve and work.

Colombo maintains one of the best safety records in the industry statewide and has been recognized by Cal-OHSA as a participant in the division’s Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). The design, performance and success of our Safety and Health Management Program is to safeguard our employees by reducing the risk of work-related accidents, injuries and illnesses.  Colombo’s Safety Program encourages employees to identify and report potential hazards while promoting safety practices in their work environment.

Successful risk reduction begins with people.  Promoting ideas and safe work practices should not only be a key element of workforce training but reinforced regularly. Colombo's Team  firmly believes in our commitment to build a proactive safety culture that not only avoids the direct and indirect costs of worker injuries and illnesses, but builds morale, increases productivity and improves employee recruiting and retention.
