Colombo Construction Company, Inc. completed our first lease-leaseback project for Newhall Land and Saugus Union School District in 2010 serving as Construction Manager on this new lease-leaseback elementary school. The project consisted of a 2-story, wood frame and stucco structure including elevators, a multi-purpose cafeteria and playfields.
Lease-leaseback allows school districts to select the most qualified project team with a guaranteed maximum price, therefore minimizing risks to the district for cost overruns.
